Last weekend I had the opportunity of taking a few pictures on the housing complex call Parque do Gato. This use to be a favela which was later turned into a housing complex, but over time had deteriorated and needed at least a good painting job to bring back some life in it. An excellent group of people, Revivarte, decided to do an overhaul of the buildings with an amazing series of Graffitis, which turned the complex into an art museum. It took them over 30 days, but sadly I could only visit them last Saturday during kids day in which they had an event with the community. Some picts from Parque do Gato.
All taken with a Nikon D800 + 35mm and 20mm lenses. Comments and critics highly welcome.
And some portraits of the great people living in Parque do Gato
One last picture to wrap it up!
